HMT Web Cam at Sugar Pine Dam Goes Live

On January 21, 2010 the first HMT web cam went live from Sugar Pine Dam, CA. The site should provide useful imagery to monitor conditions live and will serve as a record to help understand what is happening during complex precipitation events. You can find imagery at: http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/psd/data/obs/cgi-bin/GetArchive.pl?&source=UneditedActive. Go to the pull down menu and select from the available camera views (i.e. Sugar Pine Dam,CA (spd) Camera S-Band Image) The most recent hour image will appear for the current day. Previous images were taken at 0030z. If you want higher resolution, hourly images are available using ftp.
