HMT Holds 2012 Annual Science Meeting in Boulder, CO

The 2012 Annual HMT Science Meeting was held on Thursday, November 8th, at the David Skaggs Research Center in Boulder, Colorado. The meeting was hosted by the Physical Sciences Division (PSD) of the NOAA Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL). The purpose of the meeting was to bring together the HMT team to review accomplishments over the past year, discuss lessons learned, and plan future activities.

Approximately 15 people attended in-person with another half dozen participating on-line. Meeting participants included the primary PSD HMT team members and representatives from a number of HMT partner organizations (ESRL Global Systems Division, NWS Western Region Headquarters, NWS Office of Hydrologic Development, NWS Hydrometeorological Prediction Center, various NWS Weather Forecast Offices and River Forecast Centers, and the University of Washington).
